The Seattle Indian Health Board partners with the Tulalip Tribe’s Language Instruction department to bring our local (Seattle) Native youth and families the gift of language. Lushootseed is the traditional language of the Tulalip, Stillaguamish, Swinomish, Upper-Skagit, Sauk-Suaittle, Snoqualmie, Muckleshoot, Puyallup, Nisqually and the original peoples of the Seattle area the Duwamish and Suquamish.
*FREE summer program transportation available. Snacks and drinks provided. Space is limited, registration requested. All classes run 5:30 to 7:30pm Thursdays for the following dates: June 26th, July 10th, July 17th, July 31st, August 14th and August 28th
All classes will be held at the South Seattle Community College Georgetown campus – 6737 Corson Ave S, Seattle, WA 98108.
