Brigid Collins’ Parenting Skills Building Program consists of the following three evidence based parenting programs: Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) and Incredible Years (IY). These programs have been proven to help parents improve their relationship with their children and decrease family stress. Brigid Collins also provides support groups, monthly activity events, pregnancy support for moms in recovery and assists families in finding additional supports in the community.
Center for Therapuetic Intervention in Gig Harbor, WA offers an Adoption/Foster Care Therapy Program. Sally Carman OTR/L received her certification working under the tutelage of national experts Deborah Gray, MSW (‘Attaching in Adoption’), and Patty Cogen (‘Parenting your Internationally Adopted Child’). Her strength-based adoption/foster care therapy can assist a child and family in order to cope, adjust, and ultimately thrive.
Family Challenge is a fellowship of families who are experiencing hope and healing, facing Attachment Disorder or other challenging kids situations…together. Through fun and interactive family weekend camps, they help you learn to be better parents and how to create a safe home environment for your child’s healing.
